Maths & Painting, geometrical and abstract

Artist statement

I want my paintings to be an open window on the wall;I want them to be a silent source of positive energy in the space.

I believe that happiness comes when logic and feelings are perfectly balanced and my paintings are the visual transfer of this condition, by using Euclidean geometry and pure colors.

I choose mathematic harmonious dimensions for the length and the height of a painting surface and then I analyze it by using the golden mean.I create a grid upon which I compose the picture I have in my mind.Actually I am a repesentative artist, but when I want to visualize an abstract meaning, then my paintings become more geometrical more abstract.

This pursuit of harmony through which mathematics and color can be transformed into the carrier of my feelings and my most sincere thoughts, is what really fascinates me when I face the white surface of a canvas.
